American Ninja Warrior is a sports entertainment competition spin-off of the television series Sasuke.

The first American Ninja Warrior was held in Los Angeles, where hundreds of competitors took on the world's most difficult obstacle course and qualify for a shot at making it to Japan to compete in Sasuke 23.

Divided into four extreme stages, competitors face the ultimate test of strength and will in their quest to become champion. Many are called. Few are chosen. Who's tough enough to become the next Ninja Warrior!

Knightmare features teams of four children. On the call of "Enter, Stranger", the first team member enters Knightmare Castle.

Before entering the dungeon, the dungeoneer is given a knapsack, to place food found in order to replenish Life Force. In addition, the Helmet of Justice is put on the dungeoneer's head, blocking their vision.

The team watches the dungeoneer from a screen in the chamber and guides using shouted instructions, overcoming puzzles and traps.

Fun House sees two teams battle it out to win the chance to enter the Fun House and retrieve the prizes within.

The Red and Yellow teams comprise of a boy and girl. Pat Sharp is the zany host with cheerleaders Melanie and Martina.

Three physical challenges and general knowledge questions allow the teams to score points before the Fun Kart Grand Prix. The team with the highest score gets two minutes inside the Fun House, for the chance to collect prize tags.

Watch twenty-four contestants - all ages, shapes and sizes, step up to the world's largest extreme obstacle course, all with the belief that THEY will be the Wipeout Champion. Hosts John Anderson and John Henson provide the commentary, with Jill Wagner course-side.

There are tons of stunts on the course - the double cross, the pitch fork, the blob, the smack wall sweeper, the fence flapper, pirate's revenge, the medieval wipeout and more.

In the end, after being pummeled in the qualifier, thrashed in the second round, plastered in the grueling third set of obstacles, the four finalists head for the Wipeout Zone.

Game show featuring two family teams of five, who are asked to guess the results of surveys of 100 people.

Each round begins with a member of each team approaching the podium. The team member with the higher answer chooses whether to "play" or "pass". The host then passes down the line of the team in play, asking for an answer from each. The board reveals if each answer is featured.

If all answers are found, they win the pounds equivalent of the total answers. If an incorrect answer is given, a life is lost and the infamous "uh-uhh" sound is heard.
