Catchphrase

Catchphrase

Weekdays @ 3pm

Here’s your chance to relive those favourite moments of game show nostalgia, as Catchphrase returns to your screens!

Hosted by the much-loved Roy Walker for a marathon thirteen years of the show’s sixteen year run, the game challenges contestants to guess the catchphrases displayed in onscreen images, where nondescript mascot Mr Chips held things down with his multitasking talents. Simple but effective, kitsch but engaging, Catchphrase is the kind of honest and old-fashioned game show that defined the genre in its heyday, and gave rise to plenty of catchphrases of its own.

What’s Mr Chips doing? He’s watching Catchphrase, weekdays on Challenge.
