So You Think You Can Dance

So You Think You Can Dance

From the creators of the US smash series American Idol comes this redhot new dance show where hundreds of hopefuls compete to see whose moves represent the best twinkled-toed action. The amazing talents of dancers from all disciplines are showcased, from ballroom and ballet to salsa, jive, hip-hop and the latest urban freestyle craze, 'krumping', also known as 'clowning'.

In their quest to find the best, the show's producers travel across America to hold auditions where contestants try to impress the judges with their moves and routines in a bid to make it to the all-important finals. Ultimately only 50 can go through to the last intense rounds, which will test not only their dancing talents, but their physical and emotional strength.

The finalists head to Hollywood where they will work with some of the world's top choreographers: Ron Montez, the seven time US Latin Dance champion; Brian Friedman, whose credits include Britney Spears, Pink and Beyonce, Mia Michaels, who has worked with Madonna, Ricky Martin and Prince; Dan Karaty whose star clientele includes Kylie Minogue; Doriana Sanchez, who has worked with Cher, Peter Gabriel and Barry Manilow; Hip-Hop dance expert Shane Sparks and finally there's the ballroom-dancing guru Mary Murphy.

The gorgeous Cat Deeley oversees the action and guides the dancers through the rounds and often painful eliminations. In the end, there can be only one winner. This gripping series makes for seriously compelling viewing, capturing all the highs and lows of the competitors journeys, as well as providing a visual feast of stunning dance moves.
