The ancient, majestic city of Copenhagen played host to the Scandinavian Open leg of the European Poker Tour. The four-day Texas Hold'em No Limit had an expected first prize of more than 4m Danish Kroner (approx. €525,000) and a total prize pool of nearly 14m Dkk (approx. €1.8 million).

There was a strong Scandinavian contingent amongst the 400 players, with entrants from Sweden, Denmark and Norway battling with some of the finest poker minds from across the globe.
