A firm favourite with the British public since its launch in 1979, the ever-popular Family Fortunes returns to your screens on Challenge. One of the country’s longest running game shows, hosted by treasured television personalities such as Bob Monkhouse and Les Dennis, it remains a much-loved format to this day.

Pitting two family teams against one another in battle for cash prizes, the show required contestants to guess what answers the public had given in response to a series of questions – the notorious “100 people surveyed”. The game’s legendary blueprint has given rise to several popular expressions and catchphrases, including the now industry standard incorrect answer sound, and much has been made of the often hilarious answers given by the unwitting players. (“Naomi Campell” was the reply once given to the question “Name a bird with a long neck”!)
