How about some USA gameshows?
I bet you will get them for peanuts and would give something new to the viewers.


As a Challenge viewer i feel you show the same shows over and over and dont have enough new content.

I know you dont have an endless budget but even if its some older shows like Blockbusters it would be better than showing the same episode of Family Fortunes 7 days per week.

Also shows like

Fort Boyard
the remaining series of Gladiators
The Weakest Link
Knightmare

would be good.

Also why not do a new series of something like Treasure Hunt or Interceptor. They cant cost much to make. Its not all about big prizes but the shows.

You'll be pleased to know that from Monday we have some new programmes coming into the schedule including Fort Boyard and Bruce's Price is Right...And! a new interactive programme called Sport Addicts for all you Sport fans! Each day you can play along to win a great prize and test your knowledge against the studio contestants!

Unfortunately, we are unable to secure the rights to the remaining series of Gladiators until next year, but we are trying to introduce as many new action/adventure type programmes as soon as we can. For example; Desert Forges launches in November, Ice Warriors launches in December.

We also have a new series of play along 100% commencing at the end of October and an interactive version of Bruce's Play Your Cards Right in November.

At Christmas we intend to show some nostalgic cult gameshows - so please let us know if you have any in mind!

any chance of showing a series called Nexus?

It was on [.tv] a few years back. The series is all about mind puzzles set in the future and think it would be a good adition to the Challenge line up.

Also do you know if Telewest viewers will be getting the play along games soon?

hi challenge team - the new line up and plans look really good - there are some other comments on "Your Views" aswell with some ideas - can you have a look at those n let us know what the possibility is but as ever keep up the good work - and here's to more good classix on challenge? - cya................

- ULTRA QUIZ (fantastic ITV globe-trotting quiz show! deserves a repeat!!!)
- ADVENTURE GAME (BBC2 adventure game, natch)
- BRAINSTORM (BBC1 science quiz with Kenny Everett)
- GAMBIT (with Fred "2 Ns" Dinenage!)
- NOW GET OUT OF THAT (classic BBC 1 action adventure show)

Also welcome would be:

- Beat the Teacher (BBC1 kids' quiz)
- Bob's Full House (BBC1 bingo quiz)
- Cheggers Plays Pop (BBC1 kids' show)
- Happy Families (BBC1 Saturday night show, so bad it was good!)
- Knightmare (ITV kid's virtual computer game)
- Man O Man (ITV original series featured a young Nell McAndrew!)
- Masterspy (ITV?, hosted by Mr Schweppes William Franklin)
- Punchlines (with Lennie Bennett! How 80s is that?)

hi guys - i'd forgotten about some of these shows - n yeah i'd love to see em again - and even better on a regular basis and as soon as possible - how are plans going challenge? team and what are the possibilities of some or all of these being shown -

another idea - how about some of the older editions of the generation game -

Thanks for all your ideas - our programme schedulers have been reading them all and they're currently looking into which shows we can get for our "cult Christmas". As soon as we have some news, we'll post it here!

The Adventure Game - yeah I agree it'll be good to see that again.

Turn-About a BBC mid-afternooner I would like to see again.
