There are a huge number of people looking for Knightmare to return to our screens.
Prior to a loss of our database (due to our evil ISP) we had 2408 signatures for our petition to bring back Knightmare.
In the last week or two, we've managed to reclaim over 150 of those signatures (exact number visible from our site, as always)
Bring it back!

It would be absolutely fantastic if Challenge could show Knightmare.
As webmaster of the Knightmare fan site I know that there is a huge demand for this show to be repeated.
If you need evidence, look at where Knightmare came in Channel 4's '100 Greatest Kid's TV Shows' - 16th place and was the highest position for a game show. Also a recent poll on the UK Game Shows site voted Knightmare as the 6th best ever UK game show
It would be excellent to have it on as part of the cult christmas schedule, or as whole series repeats.

Thank you for your emails regarding Knightmare. We are hoping to acquire this programme and I was wondering if there are any particular episodes that you enjoyed, can you remember what years of Knightmare were the best?
Thank you.

Please just confirm one thing do you have the rights?
ANY series would be fantastic but the final series was a good one, but would love it if you got all the series you could.

It would be great to see the earlier series of Knightmare repeated, -series 1-4. Especially series 3 because its a brilliant example of Tim Child's creativity.
Although the majority of Knightmare's run was fantastic, I have to say that I prefer the earlier series because it seemed to be filled with tension, making it great viewing!

Being a kid at the time i dont really "remember" the series as such but i do remember the ones with Lord Fear being my favourites. They are the later series' i think.
It would be nice to see the old ones too as i don't remember seeing them! All would be great
Challenge i suggest you check out www.knightmare.com for a series guide, so it can help you make your decision (although i think it would be great for you to get the rights to all series').

If you do get the rights to Knightmare (and I pray to God that you do!) I'd recommend you opt for Series 1, and possibly Series 2, the original dundeon-style Knightmare so people can see what made it so popular. That way, if that motive proves to be successful, you can then possibly go on to repeat the other series in chronological order, hence capitalising on this result!

I think that the latter series should be shown - I'd go for Series 8
The ones with Lord Fear in are the best in my opinion.

Every series of Knightmare has classic moments. My favourite episodes are:
series 1, programme 1
series 2, programmes 5 and 6 (I think)
The first ever winning team.
series 4, programmes 11, 12 and 13
Another excellent winning team.
series 5, programmes 7, 8 and 9
Yet another!
series 6, programmes 9, 10 and 11
And again!
series 7, programmes 10-15
Back to back winners, plus an excellent
end to the series.
Also, I believe there are two previously untransmitted pilot episodes (15mins and 30mins length each, I think). Showing these would give a fascinating insight into the birth of the show as well as giving the die-hard fans something new to see.
Thanks a lot!

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all your posts regarding Knightmare. The negotiations to get the rights are still in progress, but it's looking likely that we'll be showing it, and not just for Christmas.....
