Classic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is my most favourite show on Challenge. I have been watching it for two years exactly and I really want to see Pat Gibson winning the £1 Million which hasn't been shown since January 2010. I would definitely be over the moon to see it again.
Darren Monaghan13 September 2011
I glad Wheel of Fortune is returning on Challenge. Family Fortunes is my favourite show ever.
Daniel Mullins13 September 2011
TNA impact wresting and PPV are the best shows on challenge thanks for show it on freeview
Tom Martin13 September 2011
Good to see Fort Boyard making a return.
Andy Roscoe14 September 2011
will there be any chance of matthew kelly's stars in their eyes making a return at some point also friends like these?
Francis King20 September 2011
Is there any chance of seeing Bob Monkhouse and Max Bygraves' series of Family Fortunes again soon... :) BH
Bryan Higgins24 September 2011
I like wheel of fortune, glad its going to be shown at weekends, would also like to see some Treasure Hunt with Anike Rice and co..
anthony mcnee27 September 2011
It's Not What You Know is making a return to Challenge. It will be returning just a few days before Halloween. It will be shown at 6am Monday to Friday for a short period of time then the 6am slot will then presumably move back to Classic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? :D
Darren Monaghan01 October 2011
I have an idea. At the Halloween weekend, you could have a weekend run of Classic Millionaire episodes as well as the 9pm ones during the week. Please show episodes from 2004 and 2005 in the weekend run because they haven't been shown for the longest time. Triple bill every Saturday and Sunday or something please. Thanks :)
Darren Monaghan01 October 2011
All these shows are great but is there any chance you can bring back to our screens Challenge Anneka? used to love that programme i think it first aired in 1989 or somewhere round there.
Jason Williams07 October 2011
Its great to see the Richard O'brien Crystal Maze episodes back, Ed Tudor Pole never really captured the audience like Richard. Also loving the Fort Boyard episodes, My daughter and i love watching these when she comes home from school. I would like to see the Generation Game with Sir Bruce Forsyth being shown on challenge...watching this used to make me laugh so much.
Suzanne Cottage13 October 2011
is there any chance of Classic Millionaire episodes from series 1 in 1998 and so on being shown on Challenge? Please show them. They are good episodes from the early days that many people want to watch
Darren Monaghan14 October 2011
Thank you so much for Fort Boyard and The Crystal Maze! As far as I know, there was a group on the Crystal maze the got 50 seconds inside the crystal dome. Is there any chance of that episode being shown?
David Faulkner16 October 2011
All very well but when will the remainder of the 1992 series of Blockbusters be shown. Also, why are you airing pointlessly edited versions of Family Fortunes and Millionaire - they're not Lottery based shows like In It To Win It, Winning Lines or 1 vs 100 so why cut stuff out that you don't need to?
Brett Linforth17 October 2011
What on earth is Acq? That I see on the TV guide for November on Challenge. I don't like the look of it. Sounds boring
Darren Monaghan18 October 2011
Acq has now changed to Deal or No Deal :D so glad about that. Please show Classic Millionaire on weekends only because more people are at home then
Darren Monaghan20 October 2011
Would be nice to see some of the earlier series of 3-2-1 from 1978 to 1985 - they've not been shown for ages and would be just as a enjoyable as watching them the first time around. Even though I remember watching most of them as a kid.
Bryan Higgins21 October 2011
It would be nice to see Fort Boyard with Melinda Messenger with Leslie Grantham as Boyard. I like them better than Jodie Penfold and Chris Ellison. Please show the ones with Melinda again.
Joe Caukwell23 October 2011
It Would be great to see the old series of 321.
Chris Simon Paul Penfold-Ivany27 October 2011
it would be nice to see the series from 1982 to the end.
Chris Simon Paul Penfold-Ivany30 October 2011
Hi - just wanted to say what a HUGE shame it is they didn't do a 3rd series of "Take it or Leave it", as the first 2 you can now almost say word for word along with them ! And how about stuff like Bob Monkhouse's "$64,000 dollar question" or "Bob's Full House "? - and why has 'Pointless' suddemly stopped !
WYN EVANS01 November 2011
Agree with Wyn. It would be great to see Bob's Full House, instead of the endless re-runs of Family Fortnes et al. And what about Jimmy Tarbuck's Frame Game, & Winner Takes All plus Bruce Forsyth & The Generation Game from the 70s, Terry Wogan's Blankety Blank, & Paul Daniel's with Every Second Counts & Odd One Out. There are hundreds of game shows, that never get shown & I can't believe people want to watch the same tired out ones, all the time...& I nearly forgot, how about Steve Jones & the original Pyramid Game?
Trevor Ager02 November 2011
I TOTALLY AGREE TREVOR!! CHALLENGE TV LIKES BLOWING THERE OWN TRUMPET WHEN IT COMES TO SHOWING THE SAME PROGS BUT AT A DIFFERENT TIME SLOT BUT ITS THE ENDLESS REPEATS OF SHOWS THAT IRATE ME. THERE COULD BE ALL THE LILY SAVAGE BLANKETY BLANKS FROM THE BBC THAT COULD BE SHOWN + BRUCE FORSYTH YOU BET + LESLIE CROWTHER STARS IN THEIR EYES . THE LIST IS ENDLESS BUT DO THEY LISTEN OR READ THESE COMMENTS , I DONT THINK SO!!
DAVID PYPER03 November 2011
PS IT MIGHT ALSO BE THAT CHALLENGE TV IS NOW OWNED BY SKY SO ITS WILL BE JUST LIKE THE GOLD TV CHANNEL THATS OWNED BY THE BBC THAT WILL CONTINUE TO SHOW ENDLESS REPEATS OF THE SANE SITCOMS I GIVEN UP ON GOLD UNTIL THEY START SHOWING CLASSICS LIKE TONY HANCOCK , MORECAMBE & WISE, CANNON & BALL,+ THE TREASURE TROVE OF CLASSIC SITCOMS ARE YOU BEING SERVED, HI DE HI ETC ETC
DAVID PYPER03 November 2011
ALSO TO ADD INSULT TO THIS THE "321" PHOTO IS FROM THE EARLIER SERIES THAT NEVER ,I REPEAT NEVER GETS SHOWN ON CHALLENGE TV , MAYBE CHRISTMAS THEY COULD SHOW LOTS OF CLASSIC 70S & 80S GAMESHOWS AS A TREAT LIKE THEY DID A FEW YEARS AGO IE THE GENERATION GAME WITH BRUCE FROM THE EARLY 90S + THE GOLDEN SHOT,JEUX SAN FRONTIERES. THE LIST IS ENDLESS BUT MY COMMENTS WILL ALWAY FALL ON DEAF EARS AS NORMAL.
DAVID PYPER03 November 2011
Well said David. And I agree about Gold. There I was in 1996, thinking i'll sign up with Sky, so I can watch some of the classics on UK Gold & what was then the Family Channel (before it became Challenge) & a couple of years in, both channels are bought by someone else, & the same old stuff is shown constantly. UK Gold became Gold, but should be called David Jason & Ronnie Barker tv! How they can call themselves Gold is beyond me, because half the stuff they show is anything but Gold i.e Outnumbered...hardly gold that one! And then when both channels do show anything, they edit to ribbons, for certain things may offend people! Only thing that offends me, is the constant times "Only Fools & Horses & Fawlty Towers are shown.
Trevor Ager03 November 2011
i'm really pleased with the line-up at the moment on challenge ( will be even more when D.O.N.D & 1vs100 start ) I know people wanted to see Deal on Challenge as long as 3 years ago. . . just a case of waiting for the community to get up & running. So can start blogging about what I/we would like to see return to Challenge or air for the 1st time! just a few returns being . . Bruce's price is right, Paul Daniels wipeout, Big Break, Friends Like These & 1993/1995 Krypton Factor. New shows . . The Waiting Game, Total Wipeout, Divided, & Lose a Million. :)
Dave Howitt04 November 2011
Dave..you are easily pleased mate! Try asking why the beggining of Wipeout with Paul Daniels is edited? I seem to remember that on BBC1, the show fitted into a full half hour. Suddenly on Challenge it's like 23 minutes+. Now why is that?
Trevor Ager04 November 2011
Classic UK Gladiators, not the new sky one series, the old itv series...........please start showing it again
Will Jenkins05 November 2011
It would be great if you could show the earlier series of The Krypton Factor from 1977-1986 as well as the 1987-1995 series. In The Crystal Maze, there was an edit on the final episode as the team captain Jim Alexander's dedication shown on the original broadcast but got removed from the repeats but contestant David MacPherson's dedication is still showing.
Tracy Austin05 November 2011
I would like to see Young Krypton on Challenge which is a spin-off from The Krypton Factor like you do with the Children's Specials from The Crystal Maze.
The Krypton Factor and The Crystal Maze are my favourite Challenge programmes.
Tracy Austin05 November 2011
would love to see the Price is right with Lesile Crowther and Blankly blank with Les Dawson hope you will show these
Michael Tinker05 November 2011
it be nice to see some old classics and not the same reruns - its nice Deal or No Deal starts but be nice if Bobs full house 64,000 dollar question , winner takes all , original pyramid game , crosswits, gambit, concentration , bring back the classics please please
Darren Peat06 November 2011
I'd love to see gameshows such as Lucky Ladders and Big Break on Challenge!
James Coyle06 November 2011
hehe. no 1 has said im easily pleased before. I guess I would be happier if I was challenge's scheduler. cos i would come up with some decent line ups. Be good to find out what the buying power is like for programing & if it will be possible to commission any new shows for challenge in the future. Also some better organising & special weekends etc. . like getting some really good classics that people keep asking for in like a 'gameshow gods' cult selection & newer stuff in primetime.
Anyway as for the edits in Paul Daniels Wipeout, that will be because it was 28 mins on bbc & it fills the same space on challenge. they edit it down to make way for.the ad break. They thort that they were removing pointless bits that don't ruin the game. I do find it annoying tho, cos takes a bit of sparkle away.
Dave Howitt09 November 2011
to challenge
please can we have more new gameshows that were shown in the past from 1997 like crosswits, strike it lucky, 3-2-1 1978 to 1985, family fortunes 1982-1992. the pyramid game steve jones era. any gameshows from the 9.25am slot? concentration nick jackson and bob carolgees many other gameshows thanks.
Simon Mason10 November 2011
Must echo David Pyper's comments about UK 'Gold' - I certainly don't think endless repeats of shows which have only just finished on the BEEB as in recent years like 'My Family' and 'Dinnerladies in ANY way qualify as 'Gold' - as David said, where are the likes of "Hancock" , maybe .Juliet Bravo' etc - - - Challenge has SUCH a treasure-chest to choose from - "Bob's your Uncle', 'Give us a Clue', the Nicholas Parsons 'Sale of the Century etc, but instead Les Dennis is raking in daily royalties from episodes of 'Family Fortune we've all seen a million times !!
WYN EVANS10 November 2011
why dont you put blind date on or robot wars or pets win prizes plz pick one of these tv game shows
.. ..13 November 2011
My favourite gameshow was Knightmare, and I think I've seen it on Chellenge in the past. Any chance of showing that again?
Catherine Lowden15 November 2011
I'm pretty sure that Paul Daniels "Wipeout" had a qualifying question to begin the first round...Surely that is important to the game, alone?
I can't see any point in editig these shows. If it doesn't fit in 30 minutes, put it in a 35 minute slot!
Trevor Ager17 November 2011
I would like to see Jepoardy with Paul Ross be re shown-briliant host and great series. He also did Telly stack which was brill as well.
eddie vee08 December 2011
Take It Or Leave It and The Crystal Maze are legends on Challenge; including Blockbusters and Catch Phrase. Always cheer me up!
Henry Kelly's 'Going For Gold' is something I would suggest. Used to enjoy that as a kid!
Also Jim Davidson's Generation Game and Big Break were favourites of mine too. Surprised I've never seen them on Challenge.
Adam Lawrence08 December 2011
hey challenge, please bring back bruce's price is right, it's like the best show ever !!!!!
leanne aubin11 December 2011
Hey Challenge, Please can you make a new series of Bullseye it was such a great show and could it be bought back with Dave Spikey as the presenter. Could you also show The Generation Game.
Sarah Leggett13 December 2011
Great news that challenge has got tna impact, xplosion and ppvs until 2013 at least.
Top move challenge and finally a real alternative to wwe.Steve Gill
Stephen Gill16 December 2011
Hi Challenge. When is the second series of Deal or No Deal returning? It has many many fans and having been a past contestant, can't wait to see it again. Please make my wisha come true xx
Brenda Martin01 January 2012
WHEN IS EGGHEADS COMING BACK TO CHALLENGE, PLEASE?
SOMPTINGMINNIE
Rita Howard06 January 2012
Enjoy many of the old programmes offered on Challenge. Is there any chance of previous series of Treasure Hunt being re-run. It was most enjoyable to use maps and reference books to solve the clues and also to see other interesting and beautiful parts of our country.
Kind regards
Martin Lewis10 January 2012
Hello there im a regular viewer to challenge, i would like to know when interceptor will be returning to challenge, as its a good programme and would like to see it again :)
Francis King11 January 2012
Would like to see Treasure Hunt, would not mind even if you could show the revival with Dermot and Suzi Perry.
Martin Duhig13 January 2012
Have you noticed that after showing the last episode of Season 5 of The Crystal Maze, they jump straight to the 1st Season instead of showing Season 6. What's going on? Do Challenge not have Season 6 or something? Season 6 is my favourite Season by the way and I'm disappointed they're not showing it.
Rory Skene15 January 2012
Does Anyone That Works At Challenge Reply To The Messages Like When We Had The Old Challenge Forums, Get Interceptor Back Please. And Lay Off Back To Back Episodes All Day, It Gets Boring After A While lol.
Please Reply
Thanks Fran :)
Francis King16 January 2012
When Crystal Maze end of epsiode 13 in Series one then next christmas special why put in series 5 should be 1991 series 2 tidy with order
Please can reply me
Thanks James
James Gillespie04 February 2012
They only did one series but Chris Tarrant did a quiz show called Lose a Million - I'd like that to be shown again!
Paul Holland05 February 2012
Strike it Lucky was on for years; could the repeats make a return? Top, Middle or Bottom?
Paul Holland05 February 2012
Can we have the Adventure Game, Treasure Hunt, Pyramid Game (Steve Jones) Gambit, Name That Tune, Punchlines (Lennie Bennet) and otehr old shows like that back on challenge, these shows that are on now are getting repeated too often and the channel needs a change of different shows back on!!
NIGEL RIGGALL06 February 2012
Will the price is right or supermarket sweep be maing an appearence soon?
Natasha Kibble07 February 2012
Any chance of showing Midas Touch, a gameshow hosted for 2 series by Bradley Walsh in the mid 90s.
Every Second Counts is also well worth another run.
Adam Walton17 February 2012
Would love to see Interceptor back on our screens. And something that would make my day, Bob's Full House or Brucies Generation Game :)
Tony Winter21 February 2012
Hi its good to see big break back on your channel. there were other good games shows back in the 80's like strike it lucky or treasure hunt it would be good to see this on your channel as well.
pete lancett26 February 2012
i would prefer if the wrestling got taken off as well, as wrestling isnt a gameshow & this is supposed to be a gameshow channel - there is plenty of that kind of stuff on sky sports.
Please bring back interceptor, me and others are missing it.
Thanks
Francis King05 March 2012
Please bring back treasure hunt and start showing the generation game (bruce forstyh seasons) they are great entertainment gameshows. How about bringing back beadles about?
nick squires22 March 2012
sorry bruce 'forsyth'
nick squires22 March 2012
I bought a freeview TV in January and its great to get Challenge but it seems that some programmes have been dominating the schedule for a while. Most evenings and weekends we have hours of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire episodes. I don't mind it being shown but 2 1 hour episodes on an evening and 4 1 hour episode on a weekend? Come On, thats a bit too much!
I would love to see more episodes of my favourite Catchphrase, particularly the earlier episodes with the original opening theme, music, graphics etc. I know its currently on at 12am Thursdays and Fridays and also weekends at 5pm, but I don't always get to see it at these times. 10pm/10.30pm on weeknights would be great for me :D lol
Other favourites of mine that I'd love to see on Challenge are Going For Gold, The Generation Game, The Krypton Factor, 100%, The Price Is Right, Strike It Lucky/Rich, Supermarket Sweep and You Bet.
Simon Paterson22 March 2012
So Happy That Challenge Are Going To Put Interceptor Back On In April, And Strike It Rich, Take Your Pick
Thanks Again For Listening To Us
Francis King27 March 2012
How about showing Telly Addicts or Treasure Hunt or even Under Offer and Say The Word - there's some really old shows I'm sure people don't remember. It would be great to see them again.
Joan Hobbs31 March 2012
I would love if you could create a small kids section of shows on a weekday between 3 & 6pm or shorter based on kids gameshows (Fun House, Incredible games bbc in the mid 90's, Knightmare) as i feel it will make your channel more family kid friendly channel.
Danny Kerner19 April 2012
Would love to see the original Strike It Lucky on Challenge and My Kind Of Music. Michael Barrymore was alwight!!
Colin Payn19 April 2012
How about showing Catchphrase with Nick Weir and You Bet with the legendary Sir Brucie? So many great classics to choose from!
Colin Payn19 April 2012
Bring on 'Don't Forget Your Toothbrush!"...and take off wrestling...it's boring and not a 'gameshow'. Also, how about bringing on "Banzai"? Great channel nonetheless. I probably watch this 60& of the time.
Arianne Wolodarsky02 May 2012
I agree with Danny - especially about the return of Knightmare. I also agree with everyone else about the TNA wrestling. Sorry, it ain't a game show.
But just to throw my tuppence in, I think Shooting Stars belongs on somewhere like Dave - comedy panel games are great and all, but it just doesn't fit in on Challenge.
Anthony Hobson07 May 2012
I hope Challenge acquire the 1998-1999 series of WWTBAM from ITV soon.
Matthew Sharples10 May 2012
Hi I really appreciate you bringing Blockbusters back for a brand new series, and showing repeats with Bob Holness in a few weeks ago, I used to watch every single episode of it when I was a child, but if you get a chance could you please try and show repeats of Busman's Holiday, as I also used to love that as well, I mean any series of it.
James Fisher12 May 2012
I agree with Matthew Sharples. please try and acquire series 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Classic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? from 1998 to 1999. there must be some way you can get them
Darren Monaghan13 May 2012
Please can you try to get Connections with Sue Robbie thanks.
One issue please take the "Blockbusters weekdays at 8pm" off the screen under the logo it''s annoying and spoils the shows it's not necessary.
steve healy15 May 2012
Please cut the amount of TNA shown as it's not a gameshow. Also, can we have more of Big Break, and start showing Telly Addicts and The Generation Game?
Martyn Newell18 May 2012
Please to see challenge TV has put on the all new blockbusters with simon mayo is there any way you could show this fantastic show for 60 mins instead of 30mins you just get into the game then it is finished. loved this program when i was a child
also could you please bring back treasure hunt this was on channel 4 in the 80s
fantastic shows keep up the good work challenge tv
colin campbell20 May 2012
hi challenge could plz bring back on the amazing race its a great show i love it
gordon thomson30 May 2012
How about the very first 3 series of Family Fortunes with Bob Monkhouse? Max Bygraves was a terrible host & didn't have a clue. What an idiot.
Any shows with Bob are great & he did so many. Bob's Full House would be good.
And what about Jimmy Tarbuck's Winner Takes All & Tarby's Frame Game?
Trevor Ager30 May 2012
Max Bygraves on Family Fortunes!!! Dear oh dear!! No disrespects, but he couldn't host a game show for an electric toaster!! Car crash t.v. of its time!
Colin Payn31 May 2012
This page SERIOUSLY needs updated. May was last month you know
Darren Monaghan05 June 2012
ive had digital tv for 5/6yrs and there has hardly been any diff shows on challenge in that time i agree with others we need a whole new change of shows telly addicts/treasure hunt/generation game/bobs full house/gambit/blankety blank(terry or les ones)/its a knockout cant keep showing crystal maze wwtbm and others over and over sure most people have seen every episode now
steven shields12 June 2012
Bring back Treasure Hunt and Bob's Full House.
Stephen McKean16 June 2012
You bet!
Stephen McKean16 June 2012
Could you please stop showing TNA Wrestling as it is rubbish and not a gameshow. I would like to see more new gameshows on Challenge such as The Generation Game, My Kind Of Music, Telly Addicts and is it possible to please please make a brand new series of BULLSEYE please please. Thank you
Jonathan Hume17 June 2012
Could you also show All Clued Up please
Jonathan Hume17 June 2012
i dont think anything will be done about them showing the same progs over and over theyve hardly changed in 5yrs some shows havent been on challenge for more than 8yrs its about time crystal maze, wwtbm, play ur cards right, catchphrase were given a rest and new shows were put on from 70s or 80s
steven shields17 June 2012
I would like to see any of the following at some stage:-
The price is right
Thats my dog
Generation game
sale of the century
peter rance23 June 2012
After reading some of the above i Agree why do you keep putting the wrestling on?? its not a game show and to be honest do we really need sport like this Stick to game shows and if they are going to be sport related put some sporting superstars (just a thought)
peter rance23 June 2012
Please, please, please, more Deal or No Deal. This show has an amazing following and having been a contestant, cannot express the whole experience enough. Baz.
Brenda Martin28 June 2012
i love challenge tv but one show i would love to see is 'it's a knockout ' with stuart hall and eddie waring and 'jeux son frontier ' they were great shows in there day and they were always good for a giggle
andy prowse28 June 2012

adrian baugh03 July 2012
Challenge any chance of bringing back treasure hunt???
gary johnson12 July 2012
Hi, my name is Matthew Winters, I am a disable viewer of your channel and grew up with a lot of game shows that u currently show. However I do have a couple of queries which echo some of the comments I have read before writing this. First thing is yes we see a lot of The Crystal Maze and reruns of the only series of Interceptor but I wish we could see more of the other 80's Channel 4 favourite Treasure Hunt instead of these constant back to back marathons at the weekend of Japanese gameshows and such. I do not deny that 'Who wants to be a Millionaire' is a classic and has been since its day but I just find that the endless weekend marathons are unnecessary. My other gripe is that last year from Monday August 11 at 16h00 you started to show 'You bet' on a daily basis, right from the begoinning of Matthew Kelly's run as host but after 4 weeks of showing the first 2 series' with Ellis Ward the reruns were stopped when Matthew Kelly had at least another 2 series to do because after Ellis Ward left he introduced the 4 celebrity guests on his own . This was even more annoying for me because I was trying to buildup a collection of those recordings and I'm still waiting to start to record the final 20 episodes to complete the set plus when it was re ran for a short time it was the highlight my day plus my week and if I may say so the only show that Challenge had the time which meant vintage childhood culture for me.
I would be very happy if someone could email me back with a reply, if u would be so kind. Yours sincerely Matthew Winters
Matthew Winters20 July 2012
Hi challenge tv would there be any chance of you showing robot wars as i use to love that show as a kid and have not seen it in 10 years plus any chance of you getting noels house party which was another show i and millions of other use to love it would be nice to see other shows that have not been on tv since they originarly aied please reply to me
ross higgins21 July 2012
please please please drop that wrestling rubbish..everyone knows its typical American faked crap.
Lets have the more comical shows like Je seux frontieres with Stuart Hall...I seem to recall Blackpool winning the final in about 1974...would be great to see that particular episode shown.
godfrey flavell24 July 2012
I doubt they can ever get All Clued Up as it, along with the first few series of Catchphrase, were made for ITV by TVS (Television South). The Disney Company own the TVS programme library now and have lost the paperwork for the gameshows, so they can never be cleared to be broadcast. There are stories that Disney have been throwing the TVS programme master tapes into skips, never to be seen again.
Andrew Maddison26 July 2012
i agree with godfrey get rid of the rubbish TNA.
It's a load of non-fangled rubbish.
Challenge is supposed to be a "gameshow channel".
If people want wrestling there is sky sports.
Francis King26 July 2012
I totally agree with the comment posted by Francis on the 26/07.
What happened to good old fashioned game shows from the UK !
Japanese game shows, Oops TV, Takeshi's Castle, Ninja Warrior, World's Stongest Man,and Wrestling !
Are these gameshows ?
Come on Challenge, listen to what the viewers want !
Kevin Mitchell30 July 2012
I would dearly love to see Treasure Hunt with kenneth baker & anneka rice
michael gosden30 July 2012
please update this page and tell us what will be appearing on Challenge in August :) you could mention the Celebrity Millionaire stack that will be showing until the beginning of September. then hopefully episodes that haven't been shown in years will be on.
Darren Monaghan01 August 2012
hi was wondering if you are recruiting for another series of blockbusters. if so how do i apply?
gavin mitchell03 August 2012
All of you hating on TNA should bear in mind that it is consistently one of the highest rated programmes on the channel which in turn brings in more finance for Challenge through advertising revenue so the rights for your beloved gameshows can be bought.
Personally, I would rather TNA was on another channel so I could watch it in HD, but it's not and I have to get over it as will you haters.
Take solace in the fact that Challenge are about to add another hour of wrestling programming with the arrival of WrestleTalk TV =)
David Elmore05 August 2012
yea!!! about time i have not seen the original series of Supermarket Sweep since i was a kid along with the price is right! but WHY are challenge putting that braniac on!? its not even a game show!
ross higgins10 August 2012
i love all the retro shows, thank you for showing interceptor. please could you put it on again, maybe at weekend?
also, please, please, PLEASE show Knitemare. there are plenty of episodes and im sure everyone in there 30s would love to see it again!
thanks =)
Chris Washington17 August 2012
Can we have series 3 and onwards of big break please, and a repeat of treasure hunt from the very beginning
Michael Forster22 August 2012
Would you please put on big break again but during the week not at the weekends also how about old shows like the generation game, punchlines, pets win prizes, tarby's frame game to name but a few also get the wrestling off as it's BORING.
gordon smith27 August 2012
please update the 'New to Challenge' list to the month of September as August is now over. thank you.
Darren Monaghan01 September 2012
I have just bought a freeview box from argos but challenge is not on there. I have tried reloading the channels but that doesn't work either. Does anyone have any advice?
James Jarad06 September 2012
Can we PLEASE PLEASE have CELEBRITY SQUARES with the late, great BOB MONKHOUSE. He kept copies of all his shows so they are available if you can do a deal with his estate. He even had a copy of Lenny Henry's first TV appearance. How about showing mine please ?
David Chandler08 September 2012
NO ONE THAT WORK FOR CHALLENGE LOOKS AT THIS BLATANTLY SHUT UP SADDOS
Adam Jack09 September 2012
Why doesn't Challenge have subtitles on Freeview yet it does on Sky?
Dave Cleaver15 September 2012
i dont think asking challenge to show different progs wil make any difference its same shows over and over blockbusters was on for 10yrs but they only show the last year of the show. constant repeeats of crystal maze, wwtbm please put telly addicts, treasure hunt, generation game on and more wish i could take charge of the channel id take everything off and start with all new classic shows that havent been on for more than 5yrs
steven shields15 September 2012
Wanted - early 321; 80s Play Your Cards Right; 70s/80s Generation Game
Matthew King19 September 2012
Challenge I Would Like To Ask A Question, I Used To Love The Days When This Channel Was Set In A Studio With Phone-In Competitions. Is There Any Chance Of This Happening Again.
Also Is There Any Chance Of Gladiators (ITV's Version) Coming Back On Here Too As Alot Of My Contacts Are Agreeing That This Version Was Much Better, If I Could Get A Reply Soon It Would Be Much Apprechiated
Francis King09 October 2012
Will Challenge ever repeat a show that used to be on CITV in the afternoons, in the mid 90s (autumn 1996 to autumn 1997), called 'Name That Toon'?
I know it was hosted by Mark Speight, so Challenge might find it hard to repeat it, since he did something stupid to himself in April 2008, when he was only as young as 42.
Michae Weech09 October 2012
Oops, my first name is 'Michael', not 'Michae'.
Michae Weech09 October 2012
Secondly, I'd really appreciate if Challenge did reruns of Get Your Own Back (the thirteen 1995 series episodes, aired weekly on CBBC in the afternoons, from Wednesday the 27th of September 1995 to Wednesday the 20th of December 1995) [the last year of the fairground themed series].
I bet they'd have to edit out the new 'forfeit furnace', as it was one of the most controversial moments of this series of the show.
Michae Weech09 October 2012
I already have:
all nine of the 1993 series heats of 'Stars in their Eyes' (series 4) [aired from Saturday May 22 1993 to Saturday July 17 1993] and the final, aired Saturday July 24 1993
all nine of the 1994 series heats of the show (series 5) [aired from Saturday May 14 1994 to Saturday July 9 1994] and the final, aired Saturday July 16 1994
all nine of the 1995 series heats of the show (series 6) [aired from Saturday May 6 1995 to Saturday July 1 1995) and the final, aired Saturday July 8 1995
all twelve of the 1996 series heats of the show (series 7) [aired from Saturday March 2 1996 to Saturday May 18 1996] and the final, aired Saturday May 25 1996
all twelve of the 1997 series heats of the show (series 8) [aired from Saturday March 15 1997 to Saturday May 31 1997] and the final, aired Saturday June 7 1997
all twelve of the 1998 series heats of the show (series 9) [aired from Saturday March 21 1998 to Saturday June 6 1998] and the final, aired Saturday June 13 1998
all twelve of the 1999 series heats of the show (series 10) [aired from Saturday March 13 1999 to Saturday May 29 1999] and the final, aired Saturday June 5 1999
three of the original March-May 2000 series heats of the show (series 11) - heat 2 aired Saturday March 18 2000, heat 3 aired Saturday March 25 2000 and heat 8 aired Saturday April 29 2000, and the final, aired Saturday May 20 2000
the Catchphrase episode (of the 1994-1999 Carlton series, hosted by Roy Walker) aired in the evening on Friday October 28 1994, featuring Trevor (whose podium was blue, and won the main game and the super) and Catherine (whose podium was red)
Michae Weech09 October 2012
The Catchphrase episode I have was episode 5 of series 10
Now, going to the fourth former UK game show I like - 'The Crystal Maze' - two episodes I like, both hosted by Richard O'Brien (episode 12 of series 2, aired Thursday May 30 1991, where 162 gold tokens were won, and 34 silver tokens, giving them a total of 128, and episode 5 of series 4, aired Thursday April 22 1993, where 137 gold tokens were won, and 28 silver tokens, giving them a total of 109), can be seen on YouTube. Both are uploaded by 'edtudorpole'.
Coincidentally, 9 crystals were gained in both episodes, giving the contestants 45 seconds in the Crystal Dome, and there were no lock-ins in either episode.
Michae Weech09 October 2012
I know all the Get Your Own Back episodes were hosted by Dave Benson Phillips (the episodes I'm after were hosted by him independently) and people will be able to see here that I only liked Stars in their Eyes when Matthew Kelly hosted it.

Michael Weech, you may very well have answered an 8 year long search. Do you have access to video of the 1993 Heat 8 episode of Stars in their Eyes?
Sam Conisbee17 October 2012
Please bring Knightmare back, I would love you forever if you did just that one thing for me!!!!!.
Alex Wilkinson18 October 2012
I would love too see a program back on TV called Kick Start/Junior Kick Start. Was a motorbike assault course, I watched it every Saturday morning.
Brian Webb24 October 2012
Hi Challenge, Any Chance Of Getting Itv's Series of Gladiators...Not Saw It In Years And Would Be Great To See One Of The UK's #1 Saturday Night Shows :D
Kind Regards,
Francis K :)
Francis King07 November 2012
Sam Conisbee, what's your definition of 'do you have access to video of the 1993 Heat 8 episode of Stars in their Eyes?'
Michae Weech05 January 2013
Bring back Bruce's Price is Right, Fort Boyard (Melinda Messinger Episodes), Wheel of Fortune, The Moment of Truth, Gladiators. Get rid of Are you smarter than a 10yr old because it's all you seem to put on a morning & the shocking Deal or No Deal
Mark Cranston10 January 2013
Please please please can you show Treasure Hunt with Anneka Rice and Annabel Croft. Treasure Hunt is my all time favourite show ever! Kenneth Kendall sadly passes away in December 2012, so Challenge should show repeats oh Treasure Hunt as tribute to Kenneth.
Ravinder Ghatora31 January 2013
Looking forward to seeing the first series of Bullseye again after more than 30 years. I really do hope that you show the ATV ident at the start of the programmes.
I would also love to see the ATV episodes of Family Fortunes, and the original series of Play Your Cards Right.
George McGachey31 January 2013
I've seen 5 of Jeopardy hosted by chris donnat. It will be shown again on challenge when its 23 years which it was on.
I Think that Win Lose or Draw of 9 seasons where old so there getting shot of from the you tube. They became cut-short so it would be on again as the scottish tv logo will at the end when there was no doubt. Don't think stay off remembering afternoons.
Jumble Jobs09 February 2013
Hi Challenge, I Hear That Sky1's Gladiators Is On A Break At The Moment - Which Obviously Means It Could Return.
Instead Of That Series Why Not Put The Better Series On Which Was The ITV 1 Series?
Francis King13 February 2013
THANKS FOR SHOWING THE OLD ORIGINAL DEAL OR NO DEALS. PLEASE KEEP ON SHOWING THEM. PLEASE, PLEASE COULD YOU SHOW THE NEXT GOING FOR GOLDS, NOT KEEP REPEATING THE FIRST SERIES. THANKS SYLVIA PARSONS
SYLVIA PARSONS12 March 2013
@ George McGachey - Unfortunately it appears the original ATV series of Family Fortunes is missing from the archives, and the earlies complete set available appears to be Bob Monkhouse's final series from early 1983, which was made by Central Independent Television.
Yes I would like to see some of the original series of Play Your Cards Right also. Surely ITV haven't junked that part of LWT's archives? And surely if there's enough interest here and on the Facebook page, then surely Challenge could enquire about those?
Oh, and bring back Knightmare! :o)
Anthony Hobson12 March 2013
Challenge Is Now On Freesat Channel 145
Daniel March27 March 2013
I just want to know is there going to be a second series of all new blockbusters with Simon Mayo? Greg Hicks ST Leonard's On Sea East Sussex.
Greg Hicks07 April 2013
ITV Gladiators & les dennis family fortunes get them back, they were popular then and still are now, they are better than watching rubbish wrestling lol, watched challenge nearly all my life, nothing better than the old-day ones lol
Francis King11 April 2013
I'd love to see the original series of win, lose or draw (enjoy the late version too), crosswits and whose line is it anyway (usa version). How about showing the new series which is being filmed now? Also i'd like to see scavanger hunt and ice warriors since i can't find any footage on youtube.
How about a kids hour showing quiz shows like crazy cottage, finders keepers, welcome to terror tower, incredible games, etc? Those are a few i'd love to see again.
Back to Coming Up Soon On Challenge
Comments for Coming Up Soon On Challenge
Classic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire is my most favourite show on Challenge. I have been watching it for two years exactly and I really want to see Pat Gibson winning the £1 Million which hasn't been shown since January 2010. I would definitely be over the moon to see it again.
Darren Monaghan 13 September 2011
I glad Wheel of Fortune is returning on Challenge. Family Fortunes is my favourite show ever.
Daniel Mullins 13 September 2011
TNA impact wresting and PPV are the best shows on challenge thanks for show it on freeview
Tom Martin 13 September 2011
Good to see Fort Boyard making a return.
Andy Roscoe 14 September 2011
will there be any chance of matthew kelly's stars in their eyes making a return at some point also friends like these?
Francis King 20 September 2011
Is there any chance of seeing Bob Monkhouse and Max Bygraves' series of Family Fortunes again soon... :) BH
Bryan Higgins 24 September 2011
I like wheel of fortune, glad its going to be shown at weekends, would also like to see some Treasure Hunt with Anike Rice and co..
anthony mcnee 27 September 2011
It's Not What You Know is making a return to Challenge. It will be returning just a few days before Halloween. It will be shown at 6am Monday to Friday for a short period of time then the 6am slot will then presumably move back to Classic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? :D
Darren Monaghan 01 October 2011
I have an idea. At the Halloween weekend, you could have a weekend run of Classic Millionaire episodes as well as the 9pm ones during the week. Please show episodes from 2004 and 2005 in the weekend run because they haven't been shown for the longest time. Triple bill every Saturday and Sunday or something please. Thanks :)
Darren Monaghan 01 October 2011
All these shows are great but is there any chance you can bring back to our screens Challenge Anneka? used to love that programme i think it first aired in 1989 or somewhere round there.
Jason Williams 07 October 2011
Its great to see the Richard O'brien Crystal Maze episodes back, Ed Tudor Pole never really captured the audience like Richard. Also loving the Fort Boyard episodes, My daughter and i love watching these when she comes home from school. I would like to see the Generation Game with Sir Bruce Forsyth being shown on challenge...watching this used to make me laugh so much.
Suzanne Cottage 13 October 2011
is there any chance of Classic Millionaire episodes from series 1 in 1998 and so on being shown on Challenge? Please show them. They are good episodes from the early days that many people want to watch
Darren Monaghan 14 October 2011
Thank you so much for Fort Boyard and The Crystal Maze! As far as I know, there was a group on the Crystal maze the got 50 seconds inside the crystal dome. Is there any chance of that episode being shown?
David Faulkner 16 October 2011
All very well but when will the remainder of the 1992 series of Blockbusters be shown. Also, why are you airing pointlessly edited versions of Family Fortunes and Millionaire - they're not Lottery based shows like In It To Win It, Winning Lines or 1 vs 100 so why cut stuff out that you don't need to?
Brett Linforth 17 October 2011
What on earth is Acq? That I see on the TV guide for November on Challenge. I don't like the look of it. Sounds boring
Darren Monaghan 18 October 2011
Acq has now changed to Deal or No Deal :D so glad about that. Please show Classic Millionaire on weekends only because more people are at home then
Darren Monaghan 20 October 2011
Would be nice to see some of the earlier series of 3-2-1 from 1978 to 1985 - they've not been shown for ages and would be just as a enjoyable as watching them the first time around. Even though I remember watching most of them as a kid.
Bryan Higgins 21 October 2011
It would be nice to see Fort Boyard with Melinda Messenger with Leslie Grantham as Boyard. I like them better than Jodie Penfold and Chris Ellison. Please show the ones with Melinda again.
Joe Caukwell 23 October 2011
It Would be great to see the old series of 321.
Chris Simon Paul Penfold-Ivany 27 October 2011
it would be nice to see the series from 1982 to the end.
Chris Simon Paul Penfold-Ivany 30 October 2011
Hi - just wanted to say what a HUGE shame it is they didn't do a 3rd series of "Take it or Leave it", as the first 2 you can now almost say word for word along with them ! And how about stuff like Bob Monkhouse's "$64,000 dollar question" or "Bob's Full House "? - and why has 'Pointless' suddemly stopped !
WYN EVANS 01 November 2011
Trevor Ager 02 November 2011
DAVID PYPER 03 November 2011
DAVID PYPER 03 November 2011
DAVID PYPER 03 November 2011
Trevor Ager 03 November 2011
i'm really pleased with the line-up at the moment on challenge ( will be even more when D.O.N.D & 1vs100 start ) I know people wanted to see Deal on Challenge as long as 3 years ago. . . just a case of waiting for the community to get up & running. :)
Dave Howitt 04 November 2011
Dave..you are easily pleased mate! Try asking why the beggining of Wipeout with Paul Daniels is edited? I seem to remember that on BBC1, the show fitted into a full half hour. Suddenly on Challenge it's like 23 minutes+. Now why is that?
Trevor Ager 04 November 2011
Classic UK Gladiators, not the new sky one series, the old itv series...........please start showing it again
Will Jenkins 05 November 2011
It would be great if you could show the earlier series of The Krypton Factor from 1977-1986 as well as the 1987-1995 series. In The Crystal Maze, there was an edit on the final episode as the team captain Jim Alexander's dedication shown on the original broadcast but got removed from the repeats but contestant David MacPherson's dedication is still showing.
Tracy Austin 05 November 2011
I would like to see Young Krypton on Challenge which is a spin-off from The Krypton Factor like you do with the Children's Specials from The Crystal Maze.
The Krypton Factor and The Crystal Maze are my favourite Challenge programmes.
Tracy Austin 05 November 2011
would love to see the Price is right with Lesile Crowther and Blankly blank with Les Dawson hope you will show these
Michael Tinker 05 November 2011
it be nice to see some old classics and not the same reruns - its nice Deal or No Deal starts but be nice if Bobs full house 64,000 dollar question , winner takes all , original pyramid game , crosswits, gambit, concentration , bring back the classics please please
Darren Peat 06 November 2011
I'd love to see gameshows such as Lucky Ladders and Big Break on Challenge!
James Coyle 06 November 2011
hehe. no 1 has said im easily pleased before.
Dave Howitt 09 November 2011
to challenge
please can we have more new gameshows that were shown in the past from 1997 like crosswits, strike it lucky, 3-2-1 1978 to 1985, family fortunes 1982-1992. the pyramid game steve jones era. any gameshows from the 9.25am slot? concentration nick jackson and bob carolgees many other gameshows thanks.
Simon Mason 10 November 2011
WYN EVANS 10 November 2011
why dont you put blind date on or robot wars or pets win prizes plz pick one of these tv game shows
.. .. 13 November 2011
My favourite gameshow was Knightmare, and I think I've seen it on Chellenge in the past. Any chance of showing that again?
Catherine Lowden 15 November 2011
I'm pretty sure that Paul Daniels "Wipeout" had a qualifying question to begin the first round...Surely that is important to the game, alone?
I can't see any point in editig these shows. If it doesn't fit in 30 minutes, put it in a 35 minute slot!
Trevor Ager 17 November 2011
I would like to see Jepoardy with Paul Ross be re shown-briliant host and great series. He also did Telly stack which was brill as well.
eddie vee 08 December 2011
Take It Or Leave It and The Crystal Maze are legends on Challenge; including Blockbusters and Catch Phrase. Always cheer me up!
Henry Kelly's 'Going For Gold' is something I would suggest. Used to enjoy that as a kid!
Also Jim Davidson's Generation Game and Big Break were favourites of mine too. Surprised I've never seen them on Challenge.
Adam Lawrence 08 December 2011
hey challenge, please bring back bruce's price is right, it's like the best show ever !!!!!
leanne aubin 11 December 2011
Hey Challenge, Please can you make a new series of Bullseye it was such a great show and could it be bought back with Dave Spikey as the presenter. Could you also show The Generation Game.
Sarah Leggett 13 December 2011
Great news that challenge has got tna impact, xplosion and ppvs until 2013 at least.
Top move challenge and finally a real alternative to wwe.Steve Gill
Stephen Gill 16 December 2011
Hi Challenge. When is the second series of Deal or No Deal returning? It has many many fans and having been a past contestant, can't wait to see it again. Please make my wisha come true xx
Brenda Martin 01 January 2012
WHEN IS EGGHEADS COMING BACK TO CHALLENGE, PLEASE?
SOMPTINGMINNIE
Rita Howard 06 January 2012
Enjoy many of the old programmes offered on Challenge. Is there any chance of previous series of Treasure Hunt being re-run. It was most enjoyable to use maps and reference books to solve the clues and also to see other interesting and beautiful parts of our country.
Kind regards
Martin Lewis 10 January 2012
Hello there im a regular viewer to challenge, i would like to know when interceptor will be returning to challenge, as its a good programme and would like to see it again :)
Francis King 11 January 2012
Would like to see Treasure Hunt, would not mind even if you could show the revival with Dermot and Suzi Perry.
Martin Duhig 13 January 2012
Have you noticed that after showing the last episode of Season 5 of The Crystal Maze, they jump straight to the 1st Season instead of showing Season 6. What's going on? Do Challenge not have Season 6 or something? Season 6 is my favourite Season by the way and I'm disappointed they're not showing it.
Rory Skene 15 January 2012
Does Anyone That Works At Challenge Reply To The Messages Like When We Had The Old Challenge Forums, Get Interceptor Back Please. And Lay Off Back To Back Episodes All Day, It Gets Boring After A While lol.
Please Reply
Thanks Fran :)
Francis King 16 January 2012
When Crystal Maze end of epsiode 13 in Series one then next christmas special why put in series 5 should be 1991 series 2 tidy with order
Please can reply me
Thanks James
James Gillespie 04 February 2012
They only did one series but Chris Tarrant did a quiz show called Lose a Million - I'd like that to be shown again!
Paul Holland 05 February 2012
Strike it Lucky was on for years; could the repeats make a return? Top, Middle or Bottom?
Paul Holland 05 February 2012
Can we have the Adventure Game, Treasure Hunt, Pyramid Game (Steve Jones) Gambit, Name That Tune, Punchlines (Lennie Bennet) and otehr old shows like that back on challenge, these shows that are on now are getting repeated too often and the channel needs a change of different shows back on!!
NIGEL RIGGALL 06 February 2012
Will the price is right or supermarket sweep be maing an appearence soon?
Natasha Kibble 07 February 2012
Any chance of showing Midas Touch, a gameshow hosted for 2 series by Bradley Walsh in the mid 90s.
Every Second Counts is also well worth another run.
Adam Walton 17 February 2012
Would love to see Interceptor back on our screens. And something that would make my day, Bob's Full House or Brucies Generation Game :)
Tony Winter 21 February 2012
Hi its good to see big break back on your channel. there were other good games shows back in the 80's like strike it lucky or treasure hunt it would be good to see this on your channel as well.
pete lancett 26 February 2012
i would prefer if the wrestling got taken off as well, as wrestling isnt a gameshow & this is supposed to be a gameshow channel - there is plenty of that kind of stuff on sky sports.
Please bring back interceptor, me and others are missing it.
Thanks
Francis King 05 March 2012
Please bring back treasure hunt and start showing the generation game (bruce forstyh seasons) they are great entertainment gameshows. How about bringing back beadles about?
nick squires 22 March 2012
sorry bruce 'forsyth'
nick squires 22 March 2012
Simon Paterson 22 March 2012
So Happy That Challenge Are Going To Put Interceptor Back On In April, And Strike It Rich, Take Your Pick
Thanks Again For Listening To Us
Francis King 27 March 2012
How about showing Telly Addicts or Treasure Hunt or even Under Offer and Say The Word - there's some really old shows I'm sure people don't remember. It would be great to see them again.
Joan Hobbs 31 March 2012
I would love if you could create a small kids section of shows on a weekday between 3 & 6pm or shorter based on kids gameshows (Fun House, Incredible games bbc in the mid 90's, Knightmare) as i feel it will make your channel more family kid friendly channel.
Danny Kerner 19 April 2012
Would love to see the original Strike It Lucky on Challenge and My Kind Of Music. Michael Barrymore was alwight!!
Colin Payn 19 April 2012
How about showing Catchphrase with Nick Weir and You Bet with the legendary Sir Brucie? So many great classics to choose from!
Colin Payn 19 April 2012
Bring on 'Don't Forget Your Toothbrush!"...and take off wrestling...it's boring and not a 'gameshow'. Also, how about bringing on "Banzai"? Great channel nonetheless. I probably watch this 60& of the time.
Arianne Wolodarsky 02 May 2012
I agree with Danny - especially about the return of Knightmare. I also agree with everyone else about the TNA wrestling. Sorry, it ain't a game show.
But just to throw my tuppence in, I think Shooting Stars belongs on somewhere like Dave - comedy panel games are great and all, but it just doesn't fit in on Challenge.
Anthony Hobson 07 May 2012
I hope Challenge acquire the 1998-1999 series of WWTBAM from ITV soon.
Matthew Sharples 10 May 2012
Hi I really appreciate you bringing Blockbusters back for a brand new series, and showing repeats with Bob Holness in a few weeks ago, I used to watch every single episode of it when I was a child, but if you get a chance could you please try and show repeats of Busman's Holiday, as I also used to love that as well, I mean any series of it.
James Fisher 12 May 2012
I agree with Matthew Sharples. please try and acquire series 1, 2, 3, and 4 of Classic Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? from 1998 to 1999. there must be some way you can get them
Darren Monaghan 13 May 2012
Please can you try to get Connections with Sue Robbie thanks.
One issue please take the "Blockbusters weekdays at 8pm" off the screen under the logo it''s annoying and spoils the shows it's not necessary.
steve healy 15 May 2012
Please cut the amount of TNA shown as it's not a gameshow. Also, can we have more of Big Break, and start showing Telly Addicts and The Generation Game?
Martyn Newell 18 May 2012
Please to see challenge TV has put on the all new blockbusters with simon mayo is there any way you could show this fantastic show for 60 mins instead of 30mins you just get into the game then it is finished. loved this program when i was a child
also could you please bring back treasure hunt this was on channel 4 in the 80s
fantastic shows keep up the good work challenge tv
colin campbell 20 May 2012
hi challenge could plz bring back on the amazing race its a great show i love it
gordon thomson 30 May 2012
How about the very first 3 series of Family Fortunes with Bob Monkhouse? Max Bygraves was a terrible host & didn't have a clue. What an idiot.
Any shows with Bob are great & he did so many. Bob's Full House would be good.
And what about Jimmy Tarbuck's Winner Takes All & Tarby's Frame Game?
Trevor Ager 30 May 2012
Max Bygraves on Family Fortunes!!! Dear oh dear!! No disrespects, but he couldn't host a game show for an electric toaster!! Car crash t.v. of its time!
Colin Payn 31 May 2012
This page SERIOUSLY needs updated. May was last month you know
Darren Monaghan 05 June 2012
ive had digital tv for 5/6yrs and there has hardly been any diff shows on challenge in that time i agree with others we need a whole new change of shows telly addicts/treasure hunt/generation game/bobs full house/gambit/blankety blank(terry or les ones)/its a knockout cant keep showing crystal maze wwtbm and others over and over sure most people have seen every episode now
steven shields 12 June 2012
Bring back Treasure Hunt and Bob's Full House.
Stephen McKean 16 June 2012
You bet!
Stephen McKean 16 June 2012
Could you please stop showing TNA Wrestling as it is rubbish and not a gameshow. I would like to see more new gameshows on Challenge such as The Generation Game, My Kind Of Music, Telly Addicts and is it possible to please please make a brand new series of BULLSEYE please please. Thank you
Jonathan Hume 17 June 2012
Could you also show All Clued Up please
Jonathan Hume 17 June 2012
i dont think anything will be done about them showing the same progs over and over theyve hardly changed in 5yrs some shows havent been on challenge for more than 8yrs its about time crystal maze, wwtbm, play ur cards right, catchphrase were given a rest and new shows were put on from 70s or 80s
steven shields 17 June 2012
I would like to see any of the following at some stage:-
The price is right
Thats my dog
Generation game
sale of the century
peter rance 23 June 2012
After reading some of the above i Agree why do you keep putting the wrestling on?? its not a game show and to be honest do we really need sport like this Stick to game shows and if they are going to be sport related put some sporting superstars (just a thought)
peter rance 23 June 2012
Please, please, please, more Deal or No Deal. This show has an amazing following and having been a contestant, cannot express the whole experience enough. Baz.
Brenda Martin 28 June 2012
i love challenge tv but one show i would love to see is 'it's a knockout ' with stuart hall and eddie waring and 'jeux son frontier ' they were great shows in there day and they were always good for a giggle

adrian baugh 03 July 2012
Challenge any chance of bringing back treasure hunt???
gary johnson 12 July 2012
Matthew Winters 20 July 2012
Hi challenge tv would there be any chance of you showing robot wars as i use to love that show as a kid and have not seen it in 10 years plus any chance of you getting noels house party which was another show i and millions of other use to love it would be nice to see other shows that have not been on tv since they originarly aied please reply to me
ross higgins 21 July 2012
please please please drop that wrestling rubbish..everyone knows its typical American faked crap.
Lets have the more comical shows like Je seux frontieres with Stuart Hall...I seem to recall Blackpool winning the final in about 1974...would be great to see that particular episode shown.
godfrey flavell 24 July 2012
I doubt they can ever get All Clued Up as it, along with the first few series of Catchphrase, were made for ITV by TVS (Television South). The Disney Company own the TVS programme library now and have lost the paperwork for the gameshows, so they can never be cleared to be broadcast. There are stories that Disney have been throwing the TVS programme master tapes into skips, never to be seen again.
Andrew Maddison 26 July 2012
i agree with godfrey get rid of the rubbish TNA.
It's a load of non-fangled rubbish.
Challenge is supposed to be a "gameshow channel".
If people want wrestling there is sky sports.
Francis King 26 July 2012
I totally agree with the comment posted by Francis on the 26/07.
What happened to good old fashioned game shows from the UK !
Japanese game shows, Oops TV, Takeshi's Castle, Ninja Warrior, World's Stongest Man,and Wrestling !
Are these gameshows ?
Come on Challenge, listen to what the viewers want !
Kevin Mitchell 30 July 2012
I would dearly love to see Treasure Hunt with kenneth baker & anneka rice
michael gosden 30 July 2012
please update this page and tell us what will be appearing on Challenge in August :) you could mention the Celebrity Millionaire stack that will be showing until the beginning of September. then hopefully episodes that haven't been shown in years will be on.
Darren Monaghan 01 August 2012
hi was wondering if you are recruiting for another series of blockbusters. if so how do i apply?
gavin mitchell 03 August 2012
All of you hating on TNA should bear in mind that it is consistently one of the highest rated programmes on the channel which in turn brings in more finance for Challenge through advertising revenue so the rights for your beloved gameshows can be bought.
Personally, I would rather TNA was on another channel so I could watch it in HD, but it's not and I have to get over it as will you haters.
Take solace in the fact that Challenge are about to add another hour of wrestling programming with the arrival of WrestleTalk TV =)
David Elmore 05 August 2012
yea!!! about time i have not seen the original series of Supermarket Sweep since i was a kid along with the price is right! but WHY are challenge putting that braniac on!? its not even a game show!
ross higgins 10 August 2012
i love all the retro shows, thank you for showing interceptor. please could you put it on again, maybe at weekend?
also, please, please, PLEASE show Knitemare. there are plenty of episodes and im sure everyone in there 30s would love to see it again!
thanks =)
Chris Washington 17 August 2012
Can we have series 3 and onwards of big break please, and a repeat of treasure hunt from the very beginning
Michael Forster 22 August 2012
Would you please put on big break again but during the week not at the weekends also how about old shows like the generation game, punchlines, pets win prizes, tarby's frame game to name but a few also get the wrestling off as it's BORING.
gordon smith 27 August 2012
please update the 'New to Challenge' list to the month of September as August is now over. thank you.
Darren Monaghan 01 September 2012
I have just bought a freeview box from argos but challenge is not on there. I have tried reloading the channels but that doesn't work either. Does anyone have any advice?
James Jarad 06 September 2012
Can we PLEASE PLEASE have CELEBRITY SQUARES with the late, great BOB MONKHOUSE. He kept copies of all his shows so they are available if you can do a deal with his estate. He even had a copy of Lenny Henry's first TV appearance. How about showing mine please ?
David Chandler 08 September 2012
NO ONE THAT WORK FOR CHALLENGE LOOKS AT THIS BLATANTLY SHUT UP SADDOS
Adam Jack 09 September 2012
Why doesn't Challenge have subtitles on Freeview yet it does on Sky?
Dave Cleaver 15 September 2012
i dont think asking challenge to show different progs wil make any difference its same shows over and over blockbusters was on for 10yrs but they only show the last year of the show. constant repeeats of crystal maze, wwtbm please put telly addicts, treasure hunt, generation game on and more wish i could take charge of the channel id take everything off and start with all new classic shows that havent been on for more than 5yrs
steven shields 15 September 2012
Wanted - early 321; 80s Play Your Cards Right; 70s/80s Generation Game
Matthew King 19 September 2012
Challenge I Would Like To Ask A Question, I Used To Love The Days When This Channel Was Set In A Studio With Phone-In Competitions. Is There Any Chance Of This Happening Again.
Also Is There Any Chance Of Gladiators (ITV's Version) Coming Back On Here Too As Alot Of My Contacts Are Agreeing That This Version Was Much Better, If I Could Get A Reply Soon It Would Be Much Apprechiated
Francis King 09 October 2012
Will Challenge ever repeat a show that used to be on CITV in the afternoons, in the mid 90s (autumn 1996 to autumn 1997), called 'Name That Toon'?
I know it was hosted by Mark Speight, so Challenge might find it hard to repeat it, since he did something stupid to himself in April 2008, when he was only as young as 42.
Michae Weech 09 October 2012
Oops, my first name is 'Michael', not 'Michae'.
Michae Weech 09 October 2012
Secondly, I'd really appreciate if Challenge did reruns of Get Your Own Back (the thirteen 1995 series episodes, aired weekly on CBBC in the afternoons, from Wednesday the 27th of September 1995 to Wednesday the 20th of December 1995) [the last year of the fairground themed series].
I bet they'd have to edit out the new 'forfeit furnace', as it was one of the most controversial moments of this series of the show.
Michae Weech 09 October 2012
Michae Weech 09 October 2012
Michae Weech 09 October 2012
I know all the Get Your Own Back episodes were hosted by Dave Benson Phillips (the episodes I'm after were hosted by him independently) and people will be able to see here that I only liked Stars in their Eyes when Matthew Kelly hosted it.
Michae Weech 09 October 2012

Sam Conisbee 17 October 2012
Please bring Knightmare back, I would love you forever if you did just that one thing for me!!!!!.
Alex Wilkinson 18 October 2012

Brian Webb 24 October 2012
Hi Challenge, Any Chance Of Getting Itv's Series of Gladiators...Not Saw It In Years And Would Be Great To See One Of The UK's #1 Saturday Night Shows :D
Kind Regards,
Francis K :)
Francis King 07 November 2012
Sam Conisbee, what's your definition of 'do you have access to video of the 1993 Heat 8 episode of Stars in their Eyes?'
Michae Weech 05 January 2013
Bring back Bruce's Price is Right, Fort Boyard (Melinda Messinger Episodes), Wheel of Fortune, The Moment of Truth, Gladiators. Get rid of Are you smarter than a 10yr old because it's all you seem to put on a morning & the shocking Deal or No Deal
Mark Cranston 10 January 2013
Please please please can you show Treasure Hunt with Anneka Rice and Annabel Croft. Treasure Hunt is my all time favourite show ever! Kenneth Kendall sadly passes away in December 2012, so Challenge should show repeats oh Treasure Hunt as tribute to Kenneth.
Ravinder Ghatora 31 January 2013
Looking forward to seeing the first series of Bullseye again after more than 30 years. I really do hope that you show the ATV ident at the start of the programmes.
I would also love to see the ATV episodes of Family Fortunes, and the original series of Play Your Cards Right.
George McGachey 31 January 2013
I've seen 5 of Jeopardy hosted by chris donnat. It will be shown again on challenge when its 23 years which it was on.
I Think that Win Lose or Draw of 9 seasons where old so there getting shot of from the you tube. They became cut-short so it would be on again as the scottish tv logo will at the end when there was no doubt. Don't think stay off remembering afternoons.

Hi Challenge, I Hear That Sky1's Gladiators Is On A Break At The Moment - Which Obviously Means It Could Return.
Instead Of That Series Why Not Put The Better Series On Which Was The ITV 1 Series?
Francis King 13 February 2013
THANKS FOR SHOWING THE OLD ORIGINAL DEAL OR NO DEALS. PLEASE KEEP ON SHOWING THEM. PLEASE, PLEASE COULD YOU SHOW THE NEXT GOING FOR GOLDS, NOT KEEP REPEATING THE FIRST SERIES. THANKS SYLVIA PARSONS
SYLVIA PARSONS 12 March 2013
@ George McGachey - Unfortunately it appears the original ATV series of Family Fortunes is missing from the archives, and the earlies complete set available appears to be Bob Monkhouse's final series from early 1983, which was made by Central Independent Television.
Yes I would like to see some of the original series of Play Your Cards Right also. Surely ITV haven't junked that part of LWT's archives? And surely if there's enough interest here and on the Facebook page, then surely Challenge could enquire about those?
Oh, and bring back Knightmare! :o)
Anthony Hobson 12 March 2013
Challenge Is Now On Freesat Channel 145
Daniel March 27 March 2013
I just want to know is there going to be a second series of all new blockbusters with Simon Mayo? Greg Hicks ST Leonard's On Sea East Sussex.
Greg Hicks 07 April 2013
ITV Gladiators & les dennis family fortunes get them back, they were popular then and still are now, they are better than watching rubbish wrestling lol, watched challenge nearly all my life, nothing better than the old-day ones lol
Francis King 11 April 2013
I'd love to see the original series of win, lose or draw (enjoy the late version too), crosswits and whose line is it anyway (usa version). How about showing the new series which is being filmed now? Also i'd like to see scavanger hunt and ice warriors since i can't find any footage on youtube.
How about a kids hour showing quiz shows like crazy cottage, finders keepers, welcome to terror tower, incredible games, etc? Those are a few i'd love to see again.
